Producing music in an 1847 storefront
In 2023, my late wife Emily and I bought and an 1800’s store from my family with a dream and very little remodeling experience. My immigrant grandparents bought it in 1958 and throughout the history of the building it has been many things – a laundromat, a pizza joint, a photography studio, and others. BUT I can guarantee you that it has NEVER been 2 things – a house, or a recording studio. We built that part from the ground up.
After a total renovation (’23), Emily’s untimely passing (’24), a year of travel to get my head on straight again (’25), and the end of a 13-year run at Wachusett Recording (’26), I’m keeping the dream alive by pursuing a life full of the things I love – music, my dog, my family, fields, rivers, mountains, daily reflections, catching zero fish, and Trident Series 65 consoles.
That, is where the good songs are found.
Music Services
Boutique Studio
I live and work in a circa 1847 store that is home to my private-use music studio for recording, mixing, mastering, and multimedia projects.
Recording & Production
As a producer, engineer, and session musician, I help bring songs to life through a collaborative process in which I aim to create a space (physical and philosophical) for musical ideas flow freely, with real emotion and expression.
As an engineer, I have recorded ensembles in nearly every genre (except some I’ve never heard of), and as a producer my work has been heard by many, across multiple generations and multimedia types.

Mixing & Mastering
I mix and master through a suite of great sounding plugins, analog equipment, tuned & detailed monitors, and a set of ears that don’t often let me down.
Other Engineering & Multimedia
Sometimes I’m available for location recordings, live sound gigs, studio builds, sound consulting, and more. I also work with directors and video crews to help produce videos and music documentaries, and occasionally produce digital content for myself and others.
Education
I’ve studied music for as long as I can remember. Still do!
After a lifetime of honing these skills and experiences as a musician, producer, and engineer, I aim to share my knowledge with the folks who share the same passions as me, and are also trying to narrow the gap.
